The cat scratches and fur appeared at the murder scene because Snowball is actually Lana's cat and it went feral on Marlon for a bit before the... incident.
I forgot to write that into the epilogue! To be able to make the game within the time limit we had to forego a lot of plot details haha;; maybe in a future version we'll implement them properly...!
